Common questions
Is this template legally binding?
It's a standard-form starting point, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review your final version — especially governing law, liability and usage rights.
What's the difference between reposting and usage rights?
Reposting on the brand's own organic channels with credit is standard. Using creator content in paid ads (whitelisting, spark ads) is a separate license — price it in, typically +20–50% of the fee.
Do I need a contract for a gifted collab?
For pure gifting with no obligations, a clear brief is usually enough. Once money, deadlines or usage rights are involved, put it in writing — this template covers that.
